Wim Wenders is running a contest to tell a story in just one second of film. Sadly, the site is fronted with Flash that takes a minute to load… sigh. When will website designers learn than, with Flash, even one second of loading time is too long?

Amusing and true. Could of told me a lot of one second stories in the time it took to open the site.
I’m not sure a compelling story can be told with video in one second. A photograph might imply a story, but the addition of movement would seem to need direction (which is mighty difficult to give to an audience in one second). Still an interesting contest idea.
