You’ve probably heard by now, but YouTube has introduced a new hi-res format. The new 4096 × 2304 -pixels widescreen resolution is a lot more than the current highest setting of 1080p. You can apparently also set arbitrary resolutions between 1080 and 4096, which appears to mean you can experiment with ultra-widescreen. Or just show a 1920 x 1200 film at the exact size it was rendered by iClone.
It’s possibly useful after you’ve previewed the film in 720, but then want to download a hi-res version for archival or film festival purposes. The current YouTube limit of 10:59 minutes + 1GB file limit apparently remains.
