Autodesk has new free photos-to-model service

3D software megabeast Autodesk has released its new free 123D Catch software. It transforms your set of digital photos of an object into a photorealistic 3D model, with the processing power kindly provided by Autodesk’s cloud of computers. 123D is being pitched as a service for people who want to then create 3D laser-cut objects (like real objects) from their 3D models, but it also has some free base models such as these…

Export is in .obj format, so we could get these models out to iClone, even if you don’t want to use 123D for the photos-to-model service. Mechanical Philosopher has a good review of the service with many screenshots.
